Ris's notes on Vignobles Lacheteau Vouvray:
Vignobles Lacheteau – Vouvray
Color: Light yellow.
Nose and Palate: A beautifully expressive off-dry wine with floral notes and ripe fruit on the notes, and a nice balance in the mouth between honeyed notes and acidity. A full-bodied wine with a great balance of sugar and a long finish characterized by notes of honey and dried fruits.
Appellation: Loire Valley France
Alcohol: 12.0%
This wine should be allowed to breathe at cooler temperatures prior to serving. Goes well with a wide range of foods because of its sweet, fruity flavor.
Description of the Vouvray Varietal:
Vouvray is a French wine region in the Loire Valley located in the Touraine district just east of the city of Tours in the commune of Vouvray. The Appellation d'origine contrôlée (AOC) is dedicated almost exclusively to Chenin blanc; the obscure and minor grape Arbois is permitted but rarely used.[1]

Youth Soccer Participation Has Fallen Significantly in America
“My family would not have been able to afford to put me in soccer if I was a young kid today,” Hope Solo, the former goalkeeper of the 2015 Women’s World Cup championship team, said at a conference in New York last month. “That obviously alienates so many communities, including Hispanic communities, the black communities, the rural communities and underrepresented communities. Soccer, right now, has become a rich, white-kid sport.”

So, there were a few things in the refelction portion of the podcast that we said we were going to check out. Here in no particular order:
Ris couldn't believe that Babs didn't know or remember Cavaricci. But Ris *is* 3 years older than Babs. And may have just also had more style than Babs back in the '80s.
Georgia: Vehicles must stop and allow pedestrians to cross the roadway within a crosswalk when a pedestrian is upon the half of the roadway upon which the vehicle is traveling, or when a pedestrian is approaching and is within one lane of the half of the roadway on which the vehicle is traveling or onto which it is turning. Pedestrians may not suddenly leave the curb and enter a crosswalk into the path of a moving vehicle that is so close the vehicle is unable to yield. Pedestrians must yield the right-of-way to vehicles when crossing outside of a marked crosswalk or an unmarked crosswalk at an intersection unless the pedestrian has already safely entered the roadway. Where traffic control devices are in operation, pedestrians may only cross between two adjacent intersections in a marked crosswalk and may only cross an intersection diagonally if authorized by a traffic control device.
