Notorious RBG
In the ongoing nightmare that is 2020, Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg died on September 18th. She was 87. It was her dying wish that her replacement not be pickeed until a new President was elected. She held on for as long as she could. Now those hypocricial wastes of oxygen and scourges of the earth, Trump and McConnell (supported by the likes of Graham and other traitors to our country) are trying to rush through nominating and confirming her replacement before the November 3rd election. Why is this particvularly egregious? Back in February 2016 when Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia died, President Obama nominated Merrick Garland to replace him on the Supreme Court. McConnell said that Supreme Court justices should not be confirmed in an election year. That the Senate would wait until after the November 2016 election because the people had a right to have a say in who replaced Scalia. Now the hypocrites’ argument is that this election year is different because there is a Republican in the White House and a Republican Senate. So, apparently, the people get no say. This sounds like treason and high crimes and misdemeanors.
The Struggle Bus, Making Stops At...
In this episode, Ris, Babs, and MB wrap up their discussions on the U.S. Open and cover other topics, such as school, Covid, the NFL, and much more. This might even be the epsiode where they discuss wiretapping and the need for a Constitutional Convention. But who can remember? Shhhhh…..
The 2020 U.S. Open (the important tennis one)
This episode is a deep dive into the 2020 U.S.Open’s first week, culminating in U.S. Open tennis tournament referee, Soeren Friemel, defaulting World #1, Novak Djokovic, for accidentially hitting Lines Judge, Laura Clark, in the throat with a tennis ball that he flicked to the back of the court in frustration after he lost his service game to Pablo Carrena Busta.
Djokovic has apologized for the incident. He was not the person who outed the identity of Laura Clark. That would be her own family, who apparently shared this information with local news media outlets in her hometown of Owensboro, KY.
According to U.S. Open reports, Ms. Clark, who after being hit stumbled to the ground and sat gasping for air before standing and walking off the court unassisted, is doing well and plans to make herself available for future matches. Her family outing her identity and the subsequent additional stress that appears to be causing, however, could change her status.
If you love tennis, please listen and enjoy. Otherwise, this episode is not for you.

Babs, Ris, and MB recorded a special bonus episode in the wake of learning of John Lewis’ July 17th death. His death is truly a loss for humankind. He was a true hero, and his work is not done. Rest in Power, Mr. Lewis.
